Teddy is halfway between 7 & 8 months

This is Teddy's 7 month pic that I grammed--late.  He's all like, "you never would have forgotten to post Joey's seven month picture!" And he's right! I would probably have been all over posting an update too had I been blogging at the time. But then again the amount of time I didn't know I had with just one babe is crazy!

But, alas. Here it is. A Tedster update.

First of all, I think we can all agree he is as cute as a button. Ok, yes, I am a bit biased being his mum and all:)

He's a solid baby. He is wearing 12 month clothing. And even some of Joey's old clothes that are 18-24! He is still in size 4 diapers.

He's getting super curious which makes nursing a little tricky. But he still nurses about every 3-4 hours. He has started solids and is doing awesome!
He loves veggies-sweet potatoes, carrots, mixed veggie, apple/chicken, sweet potato/apple, blueberry/apple, pear. I feed him twice a day but in total he probably only ends up eating one jar of food.

He has never been a bad sleeper BUT he has also never been a good one either. I really don't have anything to complain about it, but he is not sleeping consistently through the night. Lately he has been up at about 1:00. And them he again at 4:45ish. Both times he goes right back down after about 10 minutes.  When he does get up in the night I try not to be frustrated or annoyed. Instead, I try and focus on how lucky I am. I know there are many people out there who would love to be up in the night with a happy, healthy baby. It's actually really easy to feel blessed when I look down at his sweet little face. And since he goes right back to sleep I really have nothing to complain about. But I am working on it!
He does take a decent morning nap and an afternoon nap that coincides with Joey so all is good in nap world:)

He still LOVES Joey. And as he gets older, bigger and more mobile they have even more fun with each other. It is so stinkin cute to watch.

He's favorite thing to do is chew on anything and everything he can get his little paws on. I have a plethora of chew toys and he is happy to chomp chomp chomp. But still no tooth! Any day I think!

He is on a roll! Literally! He rolls everywhere! Not quite crawling yet, but definitely gets to where he wants to go.

Still enjoys the exersaucer.

Takes a bath in the tub with Joey while sitting in the bumbo.

He jumps like crazy if you are holding him up! It's hysterical.

He gives the best smiles and warms the hearts of all lucky enough to receive one:)

Sunday Clicks

Good morning! Happy Sunday:)
It is a very happy Sunday because both my boys were on their best behavior at Mass today.
And if I am going to be completely honest the Tedster was downright endearing.  Even if his father disapproved of my outfit choice for the little fella.

How cute is this little marshmallow??

Here are some good reads for your Sunday!

This is SO SO good.

As a mom of two boys, I thought this was absolutely wonderful.

Just really great post.

Today is the Feast of St. Margaret.  I just learned she is the patron saint of big families.  That may have been good to know growing up in a family of seven children.  For my mom, mostly;) She must have prayed to her quite a bit!

Friday Faves

Happy Friday from the blogger slacker of the century. I started strong on Monday and disappeared! But today is Friday and I am back with some faves!

Linking up with Andrea, Erika & Narci.

Favorite #1:
Have I mentioned I started knitting?! Because I have! And I love it! I want to be that grandmother that's knits(God willing!!) for everyone so I thought I'd get started now;) I just finished my first piece! It was going to be a hat but then I decided to turn it into a headband/ear warmer and I love how it came out!

Cute right?! Heavily filtered knitting selfies are where it's at.

Favorite #2:
They're baaaack! Need I say more? Why does a hot bev taste so much better in that glorious red cup?
Please don't judge my super dry old lady hands!! I wash my hands like crazy (germaphobe!) and tis the season for dry chapped hands! Anyone have a good recommedation of a really good hand lotion?!

Favorite #3:
My little bash brothers. They LOVE each other. And it warms my heart! I can't wait to see how their relationship forms as they get older. Coming from someone who has 6 of them--siblings are the best!!:)

Speaking of sibling--ALL six of mine plus a few significant others are coming over for game night tonight and I couldn't be more excited!! How lucky am I that all my siblings are not only super close by nearby! It's should be a fun night.

Check out Monday's Things I Love post for some more faves!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!!

6. the starbucks red cup.  why does everything taste better in the red cup?
7. making to do lists.  I love crossing out tasks.  it's is so rewarding. sometimes I add stuff that wasn't on the list just so I can cross it off !

10. those couple hours from the time the boys go down to bed until I do.  I love the boys but it is just so nice to unwind.
10. This book. I have been reading it to Teddy every day.  I may need to invest in a copy that does not belong to the library.  There is something fiercely nostalgic about it.
11. sweats.  we are big fans of our comfy cozies in this house.  especially now with the chilly temps.
12. Andrew in a crew neck sweatshirt. he looks too darn cute.
13. knitting, my new hobby. so cathartic and so fun.
14. This hersey's bar. SO good! Let's just say the tricker or treaters did not get these gems.
15. Do people still like Uggs? Because these cardi uggs look so toasty and I am kinda loving them.
16. listening to The Doctor's In while I am cleaning the house at nap time.  I just love me some Dr. Ray
17. watching Joey dance to shake it off.  it's a real treat I tell you.

The happenings

I have not been an avid blogger lately.  I will be happy if I can bust out one or two posts a week.
I am starting off the week with lots of pics.
here is how we have been getting down lately.

couch cuddles. joey is too cool for us.

again too cool. is he a teenager? he looks huge!

Philadelphia has nothing on the brotherly love of these boys

fun with dad

leaf pile jumps

pondering life

little pudge

just bro-in out

cuddles with my tedster

loves his big brother

And this is how Halloween went down:
quick pic in homemade costume by mom!

happy pumpkin, I opted not to dress this one up

decided against driving while under the influence of candy
he had a blast! kept exclaiming, "this is so fun!"
then helped me pass out candy
polite police made sure he shouted, "you're welcome" at children who did not say thank you

Monday, we are ready for you.
